Why I built it
I wanted a structured way to reflect on career changes, habits and difficult decisions. Selfology gives that reflection a practical shape: choose a topic, work through questions and write down what emerges.
The current product
The edition presented at selfology.me contains 29 programs and 650 questions, organised into three depth levels. It offers a PDF workbook and a Notion format for keeping and revisiting answers.
The product is a self-inquiry tool. It does not provide clinical assessment or replace professional care.
The AI prototype
Alongside the question-based product, I explored an AI-assisted version with conversational follow-up and vector memory. Its purpose is to connect reflections across sessions and help a person return to earlier themes.
This prototype is distinct from the current workbook and template. The product site lists early access to the bot as part of its Founder offering. Earlier prototype question counts and infrastructure costs are not the specification or price of the current product.
My role
I work on the product structure, question journeys and software experiments. The central design question is how to offer enough structure to support reflection while leaving the answers with the person using it.
